Sunday 4th October

The team was small as Phatboys in Oz, Silverfox is in Thailand, Mellonfarmer has the pox of some sort and Sandals was ill. Too much sun??? Bugs, Tinks and Geez arrived and we set off towards Cruntsbury. Halfway round Hansen"s we look up at big rainclouds coming over the hill and Tinks getsd a text from the Goat saying it is hailing at the Kiwi. It was starting to hail where we were too. We decided a town ride was better as it looked as if it was gonna all float past. We headed across Hansen's and around the river to Waltham Rd. Across to CPIT and through the square. Some guys need to learn how to get the lights. We did a flick round North Hagley then a flick around South Hagley before stopping to work out what was next. Black clouds looming over the hills. Decided just to ride where we could and as we started the first indication that we may get wet. Headed off to find a coffee shop to hunker down at. Nice one in High St. Looked at the views and had coffee. Blue sky came out so on the bike towards home we went. The clouds came back as we got to CPIT and from here it was wet all the way back. Cold too!!!! At least we got some momentum going. Tuesday has to be up the hill.
